We are looking for a number of different roles, but mainly want to hear from the right kinds of hard working people. We are looking for motivated chefs who love food and hospitality.
Some of our imagined roles are:
Commis chef
Pastry CDP
Snr sous chef
Kitchen assistant
However we have a number of exciting projects in the next year, so want to encourage people to get in touch, and if you have the talent and attitude, we will fit you into the team.
We generally work day shifts through the week, with most of our chefs working on average 1-2 evenings per week. 4 day working weeks have been trialled and proved to work, and is a goal for many weeks throughout the year.
Plenty of on the job training will be given but things we like are:
- An ability to work quickly, cleanly and efficiently
- A strong attention to detail
- A passion and respect for food and quality ingredients
- An ability to problem solve or innovate
- A desire to improve and learn
Things which are standard within our operation:
- Whites and aprons supplied and laundered
- Paid overtime
- Paid breaks - ie. no deductions to worked hours for breaks
- Staff food provided throughout the day
All roles are full time, permanent positions. Part time roles considered. Driving licence would be strongly preferred but not absolutely essential.
