Job Description:

  • Conduct research on availability and pricing for hotels, restaurants, and event venues.
  • Create, update, and manage working documents to support project planning and execution.
  • Respond to client enquiries and develop tailored proposals to meet their event requirements.
  • Oversee and manage supplier contracts to ensure service quality and compliance.
  • Monitor and take responsibility for the financial performance of assigned projects.
  • Coordinate internal teams and manage freelance staff, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Ensure company policies and standards are upheld across all operations and interactions.
  • Handle enquiries and requests from delegates, clients, and consumers efficiently and professionally.
  • Support general office administration, including updating client and supplier databases, processing payments, and overseeing credit control.
  • Lead on-site event coordination, managing both suppliers and staff to ensure smooth execution.

Person Specification:

  • Demonstrated experience in end-to-end event project management is a key requirement.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients and stakeholders.
  • Excellent planning abilities and keen attention to detail, ensuring high-quality delivery.
  • Effective time management and the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative team player, contributing positively to group dynamics and shared goals.
  • Versatile and adaptable, thriving in a small-business setting where a hands-on approach is essential.
  • Resilient under pressure, capable of managing the demands and shifting priorities of live event environments.
  • Skilled at juggling multiple projects, maintaining efficiency and organisation across varied workloads.
  • Dedicated and hard-working, with the flexibility required in the dynamic events industry.
  • Commercially minded, with an understanding of budget control and business impact.
