The Role
This opportunity is ideal for a qualified accountant seeking a varied and rewarding role. The position blends audit, accounts preparation, charity independent examinations offering a well-rounded managerial opportunity within a dynamic team.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Managing statutory audits across a range of sectors.
- Leading accounts preparation for non-audit limited companies and other entities.
- Reviewing corporation tax returns prepared by junior staff, with more complex returns reviewed in conjunction with the firm's Tax Director.
- Overseeing independent examinations for charity clients.
Candidate Profile
- Hold a professional qualification (CA, ACCA or equivalent).
- Have solid experience in public practice environment.
- Possess a working knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102.
- Be confident managing a mixed portfolio of clients.
- Be proactive, organised, and a natural team player.
