This role represents a fantastic opportunity for a Qualified Accountant and Finance leader to manage a small finance team, led by a supportive FD. As well as being responsible for team management and BAU activities within the Finance function, the role will offer exposure to a wide range of process improvement and strategic projects.

Job
The role of Finance Manager will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:
- Leading and developing the Finance team to support strategic priorities
- Supporting the development of the financial strategy and maintaining long-term financial models
- Providing financial analysis to assist decision-making and support business development
- Preparing annual budgets, reforecasts, and statutory accounts
- Producing timely management accounts and KPI monitoring
- Managing banking, audit, and investment relationships
- Overseeing procurement and ensuring optimal value for money in supplier contracts
You
As a Finance Manager you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:
- A qualified accountant (essential)
- Significant experience in a professional finance function with expertise in accounts and budgets preparation
- Proven people management experience
- Knowledge of FRS 102 accounting standards and understanding of finance best practices
- Excellent proficiency in Excel and various accounting software
- Strong problem-solving, analytical skills and a commitment to continuous improvement
- Outstanding communication and influencing skills
- Positive and professional attitude with excellent organisational and project management abilities
- High degree of discretion and ability to manage confidentiality
- Financial modelling skills including scenario planning and activity-based costing (desirable)
