Your new company

A small not-for-profit company based in Edinburgh is looking for a part-time Interim Finance Manager.Your new role reporting to the Head of Finance, this is a key role, leading the finance team and helping to support on all things finance. The role will include:

  • Preparation and maintenance of finance processes and controls.
  • Lead on year-end preparations and lead in the production of financial statements.
  • Main point of contact for annual audit queries.
  • Deputise for the Head of Finance where required and manage the operational finance team on a day-to-day basis.
  • Ad hoc assistance on special projects as requested by the Head of Finance alongside the wider senior leadership team.
  • Using initiative to develop procedures, embedding continuous improvement with the finance team.

What you'll need to succeed

We are looking for a qualified accountant with post-qualification experience who is comfortable managing and leading a small operational finance team. You should have experience of implementing /managing controls and have the ability to lead an annual external audit.
