Legal PA – Edinburgh – Salary up to £33,000 p/a +            Do you have experience providing support to a busy, legal team?Are you an experienced Litigation PA looking for a new challenge?Do you want to join a leading, national firm in their UK HQ?We are eager to speak to experienced Legal Personal Assistants who are looking for a new opportunity to join a leading, national firm in Edinburgh. Ideally, you will have experience providing effective and efficient secretarial support to a team of solicitors and fee earners daily. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, established team in Edinburgh!This is a full-time, permanent role working core business hours Monday – Friday. This role will follow a hybrid working model and will have a salary available of up to £33,000 p/a + depending on experience. Are you who we are looking for?
  • You are an experienced Legal PA, with experience in Litigation / Dispute Resolution
  • You are a confident communicator both written and orally
  • You have excellent time and diary management skills, and can proactively manage a busy workload
  • You are proficient in the use of Microsoft Packages and Dictation Software
  • You enjoy building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • You are a proactive and professional individual
  • You have excellent administration skills, gained within a professional services environment
What is the day to day like?
  • Providing efficient administrative and secretarial support daily to a team of solicitors and fee earners
  • Accurately producing correspondence, documents and presentations daily, using a variety of software and systems
  • Managing diaries and inboxes daily; checking all commitments in advance and arranging meeting rooms, catering and IT support
  • Drafting correspondence and proofreading documents, ensuring accuracy
  • Opening new client files, completing all AML checks when required as well as producing and issuing letters of engagement
  • Liaising and acting on behalf of Fee Earners both internally and externally
  • Managing the process for producing invoices, sending to clients and uploading all information accurately, as well as handling any queries
  • Handling all team expenses, collating receipts and processing claims
  • Completing all scanning, filing, photocopying and binding
  • Managing all travel requirements
  • Building relationships with various internal departments daily, as well as providing support to the wider PA group, other divisions and offices when required
