FBC UK are currently the second biscuit manufacturer in the UK market with a strong ambition of becoming UK Market Leader.The roleTo ensure all bulk trays, bins and other items used in production are washed hygienically and in line with company procedures.Key accountabilities• Operating the tray wash machine to wash bulk bins, tubs and equipment ready for use again in production.• Hand washing larger items, ensuring gross debris has been removed first.• Compliance to site procedures regarding wastewater discharge consent.• Operating floor cleaning equipment in the bakery.• Supporting the wider Hygiene Team when required – e.g. line changeovers.• Completion of cleaning records. • Working with chemicals.• Working in a safe manner ensuring all company health and safety policies are adhered to.• Ensuring that hygiene supervisors are updated with all relevant information.Skills & experience• Self reliant – ability to work both as an individual and a team member.• Demonstrate high standards of hygiene.• Basic food hygiene training preferred but not essential as training will be provided• Chemical training preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
