Contentious Construction Lawyer (4+ years' PQE)
A standout opportunity has arisen for a lawyer with expertise in contentious construction to join a high-performing and supportive team in Edinburgh. You will be a Senior Construction Lawyer with at least 4 years’ PQE and a proven track record in contentious matters. What you'll be doing:
- Handling complex construction disputes for a wide client base including developers, contractors, lenders and public bodies
- Advising across sectors such as infrastructure, energy and utilities
- Leading on mandates and supervising junior team members as appropriate
- Contributing to the growth and success of the contentious construction practice
- Engaging in client relationship development and BD initiatives
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a minimum 2:1 degree and ideally 4+ years' PQE in construction law
- Strong experience in contentious work gained within a recognised construction or projects team
- Be a confident communicator who can lead matters and support colleagues across disciplines
- Have a proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement
