Mobile Electrical Engineer – Edinburgh
Location: Edinburgh (mobile role)
Salary: £40,000 - £44,000 + Van
Contract Type: Full-time

We are partnered with a market leading service provider who are looking for a reliable and skilled Mobile Electrical Engineer to join our team, delivering high-quality maintenance and repair services across Edinburgh and the surrounding region. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys varied work, autonomy, and interacting with a diverse range of clients and sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical repairs across multiple commercial sites
- Attend call-outs, diagnose faults, and provide effective solutions with minimal downtime
- Carry out installations, minor works, and upgrades as required
- Ensure compliance with electrical regulations and safety standards
- Complete job sheets, reports, and compliance documentation accurately
- Represent the company professionally while travelling between sites
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 or City and Guild Level 3Â in Electrical Engineering
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Experience in commercial maintenance (FM background desirable)
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer-facing ability
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
