Street Cleansing Operative

Your new companyYou will be joining the existing land & grounds team at a large organisation in Midlothian. Due to an increase in budget, they are looking to add a street cleansing operative to their team.Your new roleHays are seeking a dedicated and hard-working individual to join our team as a Street Cleansing Operative. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our local streets and public areas in Midlothian.

• Maintain cleanliness of streets, parks & other public areas
• Operate street cleaning machinery and equipment
• Collect & dispose of litter and waste
• Report any hazards or issues reported during cleaning operations
• Adhere to health & safety regulations

What you'll need to succeedYou will need to be a reliable, hard-working individual who is able to work well as part of a team. Due to the mobile nature of the role, you will need to have a valid UK Driving Licence and be able to be in the yard for a 0700 start. You do not need a CSCS card to be considered for this role.What you'll get in returnYou will be offered an immediate start on a standard Monday to Friday work pattern. We will pay you weekly PAYE with no additional charges, and you will have the option to have paid annual leave accrued.
