Reed Technology are working with a renowned institution located in Edinburgh, seeking a Product Owner to join their AI products and services team on a permanent contract.
The role:
The successful candidate will oversee the full product lifecycle, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives and delivering maximum value to users, performing duties such as:
- Define and communicate the product's vision in alignment with strategic business goals;
- Maintain a clear product roadmap based on data-driven priorities, and oversee the development process with a cross-functional agile team;
- Identify and collect ideas, structuring them based on user and business needs, prioritizing them to ensure maximum value delivery;
- Collaborate with several stakeholders, producing reports, business plans, marketing materials and presentations, considering current and future scenarios;
- Research and analyse competition services and processes
- Allocate resources according to priorities to ensure the defined deliverables are met.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Product Owner/Manager for digital platforms, preferably within Start-up or SaaS environments;
- Expertise managing the delivery of online web-based services;
- Ability to easily communicate (orally and written) with several stakeholders considering technical and non-technical audiences;
- Experience working with generative AI technologies is highly desirable.
- Previous experience leading or managing service project teams is a plus.
- Knowledge or experience with ITIL framework is also desirable
- Availability to work one day per week on site in Edinburgh
