RETAIL SECURITY OFFICER
Shift: MONDAY - FRIDAY: 09:00 – 17:00
Pay Rate: £13.00 PER HOUR
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Retail Security Officer to join our well-established client based in Edinburgh City Centre.
We are seeking an experienced and professional Security Officer that holds a valid SIA Licence with a natural talent for retail security to join our client in keeping their customers safe.

Day to Day Duties:
Working as a Retail Security Officer for our client your duties will be:
- You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock
- Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike
- Providing assistance to customers, employees and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
Essential Skills:
As a Retail Security Officer, it is essential that you:
- Can deal with any difficult situations that arise in a safe and professional manner
- Deter criminal activity and misconduct and perform other duties as assigned
- Are available to work full time hoursÂ
- Have a valid SIA Licence
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential
- Excellent surveillance and observation skills
- Able to assess and identify vulnerabilities, and work pro-actively to minimise risks
- Local knowledge of area advantageous
Training:
- Relevant training provided along with ongoing support throughout
