Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk for a Freight Forwarder. The role will be working in a small busy Accounts department. The role is based in the Thorpe, Surrey area.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Processing day-to-day transactions.
- Customer Accounts reconciliations.
- Credit Control - reconciling customer accounts and chasing for payment.
- Production of customer statements on a monthly basis and reminder letters, when required.
- Supplier Accounts reconciliations.
- Process supplier payments and any refunds.
- VAT Returns
- Inputting company expenses
Skills required:-
- Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and Credit Control
- Attention to detail
- General maths skills
- Full Accounting skills
- Experience in accounting software
- Time management and ability to prioritize to meet deadlines
- Confidentiality and trustworthiness
- Data entry management
- Excellent communication skills
- Freight experience preferred
Working Hours are 9am-5:30pm (May consider reduced hours)
