In this position you will have a varied job role, working on multiple projects at one time. The projects vary in size and scale. Your main responsibility will be to develop technical designs and coordinating design activities throughout RIBA stages 0-7. You will prepare drawings and schedules for manufacturing and construction. You will use a variety of design software including Revit and AutoCAD.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who has experience as an Architectural Technician or a similar role with experience in design, construction or manufacturing to join a growing company, with the opportunity to continue progressing and developing your career!
The Role:
- Provide initial designs to written and verbal specifications
- Working in the close-knit design team
- Liaise with clients to develop design concepts
- Developing technical designs and design coordination
- Using design software including AutoCAD and Revit
The Person:
- Good understanding of construction methodology
- Previous experience in a similar design related role in construction, engineering or manufacturing
- Looking for progression and further development
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit and other design software
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Able to commute to Port Talbot daily
