About the Role & Grad2Teach ProgrammeThis Graduate Trainee Mathematics Teacher position is part of the Grad2Teach salaried initial teacher training programme, offering a school-based route into teaching that includes a full salary and no tuition fees.

You will:

  • Begin as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, supporting the delivery of Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

  • Progress through a two-phase training model designed to build your teaching confidence and subject expertise

  • Work towards a PGCE with QTS, awarded by Coventry University

  • Receive high-quality mentoring, coaching, and a blended curriculum aligned with the Teaching Standards and Core Content Framework

Training Structure:

  • Phase 1: Assist with planning and delivery, run interventions, and develop classroom management strategies

  • Phase 2: Begin to teach up to 18 hours per week independently while completing PGCE assignments and formal assessments
