Account Executive
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Based in East Yorkshire (office based with some travel)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well established Hull based manufacturer who are at the forefront of renewables. This is a really exciting time to join as the company looks to continue its growth strategy in line with Group. The role is for an Account Executive as the business expands their commercial operation. This position is a fantastic gateway in to sales and Account Management for individuals looking for their first commercial role or with transferable experience such as Customer Service, Customer Complaints, Telesales or Consumer Sales.
As an Account Executive you will report to the Business Development Manager and Head of Sales and be responsible for:
Client Relationship Management
- Work across a transactional sales channel of predominantly existing customers
- Liaising with clients over the phone alongside client facing activity
- Creating and maintaining strong relationships within their portfolio of customers
Project Coordination & Delivery
- Coordinate with internal teams including production and other account managers to deliver a high quality service according to client expectations
- Plan and organise visits to new and existing customers
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Work towards meeting revenue targets
- Manage own pipeline
- Account Planning & Strategy alongside line manager
- Monitor market trends and daily fluctuating cost of product
- Developing existing portfolio of customers which tends to be sole traders and small independent business accounts
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare regular reports on account status, forecasts, and key metrics into the Line Manager
- Maintain accurate records of client communications and agreements using CRM tools.
Issue Resolution
- Handle client complaints or concerns efficiently.
- Escalate issues when needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with internal stake holders which includes business development and customer support teams.
- Participate in internal meetings to align on client goals and deliverables.
The successful of a Junior Account Manager will have the following:
- Experience in sales or customer service is desirable
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- Resilient and consistent, with the ability to bounce back from any set back and remain focused
- Self-motivated with willingness to progress
- Experience of systems is advantageous
