Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be working with a leading organisation based near Chester to recruit a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to support the Finance Director with strategic financial planning and analysis, complex modelling, budgeting and forecasting, and commercial reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the design and execution of robust financial strategies through advanced financial modelling to align with both short-term and long-term organisational objectives.
  • Lead and oversee budgeting process, including the development, consolidation, and review.
  • Ensure alignment with strategic goals, while monitoring performance against budget through variance analysis and scenario planning.
  • Develop and maintain dynamic financial forecasting models to support rolling forecasts, scenario analysis, and long-term financial planning.
  • Provide actionable insights based on trends, assumptions, and predictive analytics.
  • Implement and manage project accounting frameworks to ensure accurate tracking of project budgets, costs, revenues, and margins.
  • Deliver timely and detailed financial reporting.
  • Proactively identify financial risks and implement internal controls and mitigation strategies to safeguard.
  • Serve as a strategic financial liaison for internal teams and external partners, providing expert guidance on budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance to support cross-functional decision-making.

Qualifications/ Experience:

  • Qualified / Chartered accountant (ACCA/ACA/ CIMA)
  • Financial modelling, complex data analysis and advanced excel skills.
  • Budgeting and forecasting.
