Are you passionate about sports and inspiring young people? Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a Male PE Cover Supervisor to work in a vibrant secondary school in Ellesmere Port. This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in physical education and experience working with young people.

The school we are working with is a large academy school based in the centre of Ellesmere Port. The school has great sports facilities and is passionate about rugby and football. The school are looking for a male with a sports background to support a busy department with practical lessons and supervising of changing rooms.

About the Role:

As a PE Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-set PE lessons, maintaining discipline, and supporting students in their physical development. You will step in during teacher absences and may also assist with extra-curricular activities and sports fixtures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and deliver PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Maintain a positive and safe learning environment.
  • Manage behaviour effectively and promote school values.
  • Supervise pupils in changing rooms (male only).
  • Support school sports events, clubs, and fixtures.
  • Assist with equipment setup and lesson preparation.

To be considered for this role, we will need -

  • Proof of Right to Work, this could be your Passport or Birth Certificate.
  • A CV that covers 10 years of education or employment.
  • A fully enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to process one with us. (We will refund the cost of the DBS)
