We are working with a global leader who have been established for 50 years, they are part of a 7.2 billion dollar organisation. They specialise in design, manufacture and supply for industrial applications. We are currently recruiting for an experiencedField Service & Repair Engineerto join the team in Bedford.

Key skills required of theField Service & Repair Engineer:

  • Working experience as a Field Service & Repair Engineer is required at least 4 years
  • Must have experience of maintaining processes and on time delivery.
  • Experience of mechanical / hydraulic service / maintenance engineering will be required
  • Experience working remotely on customer installations and managing own workloads is required
  • Experience of producing reports in MS Word and Excel
  • Ability to work to engineering drawings
  • Good manual dexterity
  • Experience with building assemblies
  • Ability to work efficiently to deadlines
  • Flexible and hardworking

The Field Service & Repair Engineer / Assembler will be responsible for managing the customer repairs process as well as providing on-site service work at customer sites.This includes diagnosing faults, performing scheduled maintenance, and ensuring optimal performance and also carry out assembly work on the shopfloor when there is a no field service and repair work.

Hours 37 per week

For weekend work, these days can be claimed back as additional holidays
