Our client in Littleport, is looking for Refuse Loaders to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring that refuse / recycling material is collected in a safe manner complying with manual handling best practice.
- Ensure that all collections are carried out to the standard required.
- Ensuring that all safety equipment is available/being worn and serviceable.
- Minimizing refuse spills by clearing away any deposits remaining.
- Assisting the driver to ensure that the vehicle is maneuvered in a safe and courteous manner, minimizing any danger to other highway users.

- Ability to work unsupervised
- Flexible approach to working requirements
- Ability to operate within set targets and deadlines
- Ability to work with the public
- Ability to work in a small team
- Basic writing and reading skills
- Experience dealing with customers and general public
- Able to work to schedules
- Ability to record information relating to service delivery
- Good verbal communication skills
Please note the higher pay rate is achieved after completion of the 12th consecutive week of working.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.21-£13.70 per hour
