Job Title: Architectural Technologist
Location: Ely, Cambridgeshire

The Role: As an Architectural Technologist, you will report directly to the Technical Manager and Managing Director, taking on key responsibilities, including:
- Assisting with planning applications
- Conducting measured building surveys
- Obtaining quotations for consultants
- Preparing Building Regulations and working drawings packages
- Carrying out site inspections and attending design team meetings
- Liaising with client bodies, statutory authorities and design teams
- Coordinating and reviewing design information
- Ensuring compliance with client briefs and quality assurance procedures
- Conducting design and health & safety risk assessments
- Implementing NBS specifications
Architectural Technologist Requirements:
- Relevant degree qualification
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in an architectural practice
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modelling) will be highly desirable; as will proficiency with ArchiCAD - however training will be provided to the right candidate
- Ability to work across all RIBA work-stages and demonstrate a thorough understanding of building construction and UK Building Regulations
- Strong project management skills
- Willingness to embrace the collaborative culture
- A driving license is required for site visits
- Experience overseeing and mentoring team members
