We are looking for an experienced Deputy Team Manager to join the Child Protection / Child in Need service in Enfield. This is a key leadership role, supporting the Team Manager in overseeing a busy team working with vulnerable children and families.
Key responsibilities:

Supervising and supporting social workers managing complex CP and CIN cases

Ensuring compliance with statutory responsibilities and best practice standards

Overseeing assessments, care plans, and timely interventions

Chairing strategy discussions and contributing to case audits

Promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
Requirements:
-
SWE registration
-
Proven experience in managing or supervising CP/CIN teams

In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation including the Children Act 1989/2004

Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills
