A progressive and nurturing SEN/SEMH school in Edmonton is seeking a confident and committed Work Experience Job Coach & Independent Travel Trainer to join their specialist team as soon as possible. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a direct impact on learners aged 4-19 with social, emotional, and behavioural needs.

The Role

This unique dual-role focuses on:

  • Independent Travel Training (ITT): Supporting both pupils and external learners (via the local authority) to develop the confidence and skills to travel independently.

  • Work Experience (WEX) Support: Coaching and guiding pupils with additional needs through their work placements - ensuring they perform tasks safely, accurately, and with growing independence.

You'll also act as the vital link between the school and local employers, helping to sustain meaningful and ongoing work placement partnerships.

  • Experience with therapeutic or behavioural strategies (beneficial)
