Horizon Teachers is partnering with a welcoming Primary School based in Enfield who are looking to appoint a dedicated Facilities Manager to join their team as soon as possible.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced site or premises professional to play a key role in ensuring that the school is safe, well-maintained, and running smoothly every day.

You will be working within multiple sites across North London, so previous experience within a similar role would be essential. The School offers flexible shift patterns, from 7am-3pm, 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm.

The Role
As the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the effective management, maintenance, and development of the school site. Your duties will include:
  • Overseeing day-to-day site operations and ensuring the school environment is safe, secure, and clean
  • Managing planned and reactive maintenance, including liaising with contractors and external services
  • Carrying out routine health & safety checks, risk assessments, and ensuring compliance across the site
  • Supervising and supporting site staff, cleaners, and contractors
  • Supporting school events and ensuring the premises is prepared for daily activities

The School Are Looking For
  • Prior experience as a Facilities Manager, Site Manager, Premises Officer, or similar
  • Strong understanding of health & safety regulations, safeguarding, and statutory compliance
  • Practical maintenance skills and the ability to carry out repairs where needed
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • A proactive, reliable, and committed individual with a positive attitude
