Drainage and Jetting Engineer

Ignite Recruitment are looking for aDrainage and Jetting Team toperformvarious drainage tasks, including clearing blockages, inspecting drains, and maintaining drainage systems.This often includes using high-pressure water jetting equipment and other specialized tools.The team may also be involved in emergency call-outs and regular maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Drain Unblocking:Clearing blockages in drainage systems using high-pressure water jetting and other methods.
• Drainage Inspections:Conducting CCTV surveys and other inspections to assess the condition of drainage systems.
• Maintenance:Performing regular maintenance tasks such as cleaning gullies, inspecting pump stations, and servicing interceptors.
• Equipment Operation:Operating and maintaining van-mounted jetting equipment
• Emergency Response:Responding to emergency call-outs .
• Surface Cleaning:Performing surface cleaning and remediation tasks as needed.
• Customer Interaction:Visiting customers' properties to assess and resolve drainage issues.
• Safety Compliance:Adhering to health and safety regulations and procedures when using high-powered equipment and working in confined spaces.
• Skills and Qualifications:
• Experience in drain jetting, CCTV surveys, and other drainage-related tasks.
• Ability to operate and maintain drainage equipment.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve drainage issues.
• Ability to work in various environments and conditions.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures.
