About the Role:

Teach Music to KS3 and KS4 students (KS5 experience desirable but not essential)
Plan, deliver and assess engaging and challenging lessons that cater to a diverse range of learners
Lead or support extracurricular activities such as choir, band, and school performances
Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to a thriving Creative Arts faculty
Maintain high standards of behaviour and promote a positive classroom environment

Ideal Music Teacher:

A degree in Music or a related subject.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
Proven experience of teaching music, ideally in a primary or secondary school setting.
Strong knowledge of music theory, instrumental skills, and various musical genres.
Ability to inspire students and develop their musical talents.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students as a Music Teacher.
Experience in organising performances and leading school music events.
A commitment to fostering an inclusive, creative environment for all students
