A creative and enthusiastic ArtTeacher is required to join an Outstanding girls' school in Enfield for a permanent part-time position commencing in September. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 11-16) to develop their artistic skills, creativity, and appreciation of visual culture.
Responsibilities
- They will plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Art lessons covering a range of artistic disciplines and techniques to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
- The role includes developing students' skills in drawing, painting, sculpture, and other art forms.
- They will foster a stimulating and inclusive studio environment that encourages experimentation and personal expression.
- Assessment and monitoring of student progress in Art, along with providing feedback, will be required.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Art and Design is essential.
- Experience teaching Art lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 is desirable.
- A solid knowledge of art history, theory, and practical techniques is expected.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills are necessary.
