An enthusiastic and knowledgeable individual is sought to fill a full-time temporary History Teacher position at an Outstanding mixed school in Enfield, with a start date as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging History lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 11-16).
Responsibilities
- They will plan, prepare, and deliver captivating History lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
- The role involves effectively teaching historical concepts and interpretations, adhering to the school's curriculum.
- They will foster a dynamic learning environment that encourages historical inquiry and analysis.
- Assessment and monitoring of student progress in History, along with providing feedback, will be required.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in History is essential.
- Experience teaching History lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 is desirable.
- A solid understanding of British and world history is expected.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills are necessary.
