An enthusiastic and qualified Physical Education Teacher is required for a temporary part-time position at an Outstanding mixed school in Enfield, commencing in September. The successful candidate will deliver engaging PE lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 11-16)
Responsibilities
- They will plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Physical Education lessons covering a range of sports and activities to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
- The role involves developing students' physical skills and promoting healthy lifestyles.
- They will foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for PE.
- Assessment and monitoring of student progress in Physical Education, along with providing feedback, will be required.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Physical Education is essential.
- Experience teaching PE lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 is desirable.
- A good understanding of various sports and fitness principles is expected.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills are necessary.
