Due to growth, they are looking for a Programming Support Analyst to report into the Head of Development and Data.
Programming Support Analyst – More Information The Programming Support Analyst will be responsible for s upporting existing Development and Data functions such as Bespoke Reporting, SharePoint, MSS (Front Office, Activate, CSR, Frontline), Robotic Process Automation, Datastore DSX. Responsibilities :
- Liaise with users to identify and specify business requirements from the MSS system and where appropriate from subsidiary systems.
- Write computer programs, to interface with the MSS system and where appropriate with subsidiary systems, to meet documented program specifications. Development tools/language include; Oracle SQL, Microsoft SQL, Unix, C#, MSS Letters, MSS configuration, RPA, Datastore DSX and Transform as appropriate.
- Undertake testing of programs prior to release to the 'Live' system to ensure operation in accordance with agreed specifications and to the satisfaction of the users.
- Liaise with users to ensure a full understanding of the operation of MSS and of how in-house developed programs operate to assist in users' understanding of the system(s).
- Assist as necessary with the resolution of any software difficulties being experienced with in-house programs or 3 rd party software.
- Assist as necessary with the resolution of any Sopra tickets in conjunction with the IT Service Desk.
- Will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, both technical and business, with experience communicating with a diverse audience at all levels of the organisations.
- Will be pro-active and detail focused with a can-do attitude.
- Will have strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Will be highly proactive, organized, and able to work independently.
- Will have a good understanding of the Sopra MSS system.
