Paralegal - Commercial Property

We are currently seeking a Paralegal to support our Commercial Property department, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction through expert, clear advice and assistance.
Role Overview
As a Paralegal in our Commercial Property department, you will provide direct support to fee earners, helping them operate at optimum efficiency. This role requires a proactive approach and the ability to manage various administrative and client-focused tasks effectively.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Prepare correspondence and legal documents, possibly transcribing digital dictation.
- Manage filing systems, including the opening, closing, storage, and retrieval of client files.
- Handle mail dispatch and ensure all copying tasks are completed.
- Schedule appointments, arrange meetings, and maintain up-to-date diaries for fee earners.
- Provide professional and friendly support to clients and agents in person and over the phone.
- Prepare completion statements and assist with post-exchange and pre-completion formalities.
- Submit and manage online forms and Land Registry documents.
- Engage in marketing and other activities beyond normal work duties.
- Maintain confidentiality and operate the firm’s case management system effectively.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Legal background with experience in Commercial Property.
- Proficient in IT, with relevant software skills.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanour.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritize workloads effectively.
- Demonstrates initiative, a proactive approach, and a willingness to take on responsibilities.
- Alignment with the firm’s core values and a genuine interest in legal work.
Qualifications
- Recognised Paralegal qualification routes such as Institute of Paralegals, CLT Specialist Paralegal Course, or a Law Graduate with relevant experience.
