SEO Content Marketing Manager

DXP Talent is working with a market leading business who are hiring for a SEO Content Manager to join the Digital Team.
This is a newly created position and the successful candidate will play a major part in how SEO is optimised and strategised within the business as well as being able to produce engaging and captivating content.
The role is hybrid with 3 days in the office and 2 remote
Role and duties:
- Taking the lead in enhancing digital content visibility by aligning all online materials with best practices for search engine optimisation, aiming to drive consistent organic traffic growth.
- Conducting in-depth keyword discovery and search trend analysis to guide content development strategies that align with audience interests and uncover opportunities for performance improvement.
- Producing engaging, high-quality content for the corporate website, including but not limited to blogs, informational articles, and how-to guides.
- Implementing on-site optimisation techniques within the content management system to support business goals, boost conversion rates, and enhance overall site usability.
- Exploring the intersection of SEO and AI-driven search, optimising digital presence for brand visibility in AI-powered recommendations.
Key responsibilities include:
Staying informed of updates in search engine algorithms, evolving industry standards, and emerging trends to ensure proactive implementation of necessary adjustments
Tracking the effectiveness of content using analytics tools and performance metrics.
Compiling insights and performance data into reports to refine strategies and drive measurable growth.
Collaborating with the Digital Marketing Manager to improve user experience and conversion optimisation, as well as coordinating with partner agencies to ensure timely project delivery.
Partnering with the broader digital team to create cross-channel content for platforms like social media and email.
Assessing competitor strategies, both on and off-site, to benchmark and inform SEO initiatives.
Ensuring consistency in messaging, tone, and brand representation across all content.
Providing SEO guidance for external agency collaborations and advising regional marketing teams on localised optimisation approaches
Knowledge and Experience
- 3-5 years SEO experience showcasing best practice and content optimisation.
- SEO tools and keyword research.
- Strong content marketing experience and ability to demonstrate an engaging copywriting portfolio
- Professional and Captivating writing and editing skills.
- CMS Experience (ideally Sitecore) and tools such asGoogle Analytics
