Electrical Maintenance Operative
This company is seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrical Maintenance Operative to join their dynamic team. As an Electrical Maintenance Operative, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing the company's electrical systems and infrastructure.
The Electrical Maintenance Operative will be responsible for carrying out a range of programmed, planned, and reactive electrical maintenance and repairs on the company's building services, systems, infrastructure, plant, and equipment. This will involve investigating, diagnosing, and repairing faults, as well as responding to breakdowns and service requests.
The successful candidate will possess the necessary qualifications and experience to modify existing plant, equipment, controls, and distribution systems as required. They will also be responsible for installing and testing new systems, as well as completing associated documentation.
To excel in this role, the Electrical Maintenance Operative must be able to work flexibly as part of a multi-skilled maintenance team, across disciplines and sites as needed. They must also be able to carry out appropriate testing related to planned maintenance, installations, modifications, refurbishments, and repairs.
In addition to their technical skills, the Electrical Maintenance Operative must be able to maintain records, complete documentation, and comply with all applicable procedures, safe working practices, and statutory requirements. They will also be required to oversee and assist contractors and other agents carrying out work in the company's areas.
