We're currently recruiting for an Executive Support Officer to join our client's Operations Directorate on a 3-month temporary contract, with the strong potential to extend. This is an exciting opportunity to gain high-level exposure within a well-established organisation, working directly with the Executive Team.
This position is full-time, working Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm, with hybrid working options available.
The Executive Support Officer will receive:

Key responsibilities for the Executive Support Officer:
  • Deliver accurate, detailed minutes for high-level meetings with clear action tracking
  • Provide executive-level support, including diary management, inbox management, and meeting organisation
  • Prepare and format professional reports for Boards, Committees, and the Executive Team
  • Coordinate meetings (in-person and virtual) including agendas, logistics, and follow-up actions
  • Take ownership of office administration tasks such as stationery orders, franking machine top-ups, and purchase orders
  • Support the Executive Support Manager and Executive Directors with ad hoc projects and reporting
Requirements for the Executive Support Officer position:
  • Proven minute taking experience with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy (essential)
  • Previous experience providing senior-level executive or administrative support
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge and/or experience of Housing Ombudsman cases or working within housing/regulatory environments (desirable)
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain confidentiality at all times
