Product Analyst

Butler Rose is delighted to be working with a leading wholesale business based in Exeter, who are currently seeking a commercially minded and analytically driven Product Analyst to join their team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on turning data into actionable insights, enjoys taking ownership, and wants to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing a product range, supporting pricing strategy, and identifying growth opportunities through deep market analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the performance and management of a diverse product range
  • Analyse product performance and market trends to inform strategic decisions
  • Lead product decision-making across the group and support life cycle management
  • Assist the pricing team in setting product prices and maintaining margin control
  • Conduct market and competitor research to stay ahead of industry movements
  • Use market intelligence to identify new opportunities and react swiftly to changes
  • Drive marketing communications for product introductions, enhancements, and withdrawals
  • Ensure product compliance and governance standards are upheld
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to meet agreed objectives and time lines
  • Manage time effectively across projects to ensure accuracy and efficiency

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous experience in a product management or product analyst role
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong data interpretation and reporting skills
  • Solid time management and organisational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • A proactive, team-oriented attitude
  • Willingness to travel when required
