Gap personnel are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrator to join our client based in Exeter, Devon.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Freight Manager, this role provides quality resource and support to the Planning Team, while also ensuring the accurate administration of post-export compliance documentation. You will be responsible for retrieving supporting documents and updating records in line with HMRC requirements, company guidelines, and industry standards.

This is a fast-paced role that demands a high level of accuracy, excellent organisational skills, and a methodical approach. Prior knowledge of export-related shipments would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Planning Team
  • Assist with post-export compliance documentation and record-keeping
  • Retrieve and manage supporting export documents in line with HMRC framework
  • Maintain accurate filing systems and update internal systems (IBS, Tensor, EQMS)
  • Perform general administrative duties as required

Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office apps
  • Have excellent communication skills – written and verbal
  • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail
  • Be highly organised and methodical in their approach
  • Possess accurate keyboard and administration skills
  • Have previous knowledge of export/shipping documentation (desirable)
  • Be available to start immediately
