We are seeking a Family Solicitor to join our client's busy family/matrimonial department. This role is perfect for someone dedicated to exceptional client care and skilled in advising on a wide range of family law matters including divorce, civil partnership, separation, cohabitee issues, family finance, and children matters.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage your own caseload effectively, covering a broad spectrum of family law matters.
  • Ensure all work is performed accurately, reliably, and in accordance with the firm’s risk management procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes and developments in family law.
  • Build and maintain a network of contacts and referrers to enhance client service and department growth.
  • Actively participate in the marketing of the department and assist in building strong client relationships.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in managing a diverse caseload in family law.
  • Strong understanding of divorce, civil partnership, separation, cohabitee issues, family finance, and children matters.
  • Knowledge of the legal aid system is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain high standards of client care.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the department's marketing efforts.
