Maths Teacher Job Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join the school from September. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Mathematics to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching A-level Maths depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Support students in their learning journey, fostering a positive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share teaching strategies.
- Participate in school events and extracurricular activities as required.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
- Experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary school level.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to continuous professional development.
Desirable:
- Experience teaching GCSE-level Mathematics.
- Familiarity with current educational practices and methodologies.
