JOB TITLE:Client Support Coordinator
LOCATION:Exeter
SALARY:26,000 - 33,000 dependant on experience
HOURS: Monday to Friday, 09:00am - 5:00pm with flexibility for WFH twice a week after an initial training period

THE COMPANY: Our client is a well-established Private/Commercial Banking and Wealth Management company. They have a key focus on a commitment to client relationships and understanding each individual journey delivering a bespoke service. THE ROLE: As a Client Support Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that client queries and requests are handled accurately and efficiently. Working within a team you will act as a first point of contact from a variety of clients from commercial banking to wealth management and private investors. The role is predominantly phone based, with general administration support required.

Duties include:

  • Handle incoming calls and respond to internal and external client inquiries related to account balances, statements, and transactions.
  • Obtain remitting details for processing and complete FX deal tickets as needed.
  • Process internal transfers and ensure all payment process requirements are met.
  • Address card-related queries, including activation requests, PIN reminders, and unauthorised card transactions.
  • Handle client payment requests, ensuring adherence to company procedures.
  • Provide support for Online Banking and Mobile App queries, password resets, and online payment verifications.
  • Assist with cheque queries, stop cheque requests, and standing order and direct debit inquiries.
  • Manage amendments to static data, including address changes.
  • Process other requests such as audit letters and tax certificates.
  • Maintain client records, ensuring efficient archiving and filing.
  • Handle clients' complaints and errors promptly, following the established process.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in delivering excellent customer care, preferably in a bank / finance setting.
  • Education A Levels or equivalent
  • Ability to provide a high level of client service, ensuring the client is at the heart of everything we do.
  • Strong numeracy, literacy, and computer skills
  • Knowledge of savings, banking, or financial services is desirable.
  • Previous experience in a client-facing role within the financial sector preferred but not essential
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn various banking systems and tasks
  • A positive and can-do attitude
