Regional Sales Manager - UK and Ireland

  • Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours per week, 9:00am to 5:00pm)

Join our team as a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) and play a pivotal role in expanding our brand and product presence across the UK and Ireland. This senior position is crucial for driving our strategic growth, managing our distributor network, and securing high-value opportunities within the municipal and industrial sectors.

Day-to-Day of the Role:
  • Business Development (70%): Proactively develop business by identifying key accounts within municipal and industrial sectors, building effective relationships with decision-makers, and securing opportunities for our network of distributors and partners.
  • Distribution Support (30%): Provide high-quality support to enhance partner performance and growth. Mentor the UK Area Sales Executive to support our network and address key accounts effectively.
  • Sales Management: Create and manage an effective distribution channel that aligns with our vision and strategy. Promote co-marketing activities, product training, and ensure regular business review updates with the distribution network.
  • Market Strategy: Utilise specification sales techniques to leverage our product quality and brand reputation. Maintain correct pricing and margin recovery as per the company’s business plan.
  • Reporting and Forecasting: Produce high-quality monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and marketing activity forecasts. Prepare monthly reports and forecasts, providing an overview of the territory in terms of orders, sales, competitor activity, and market trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in sales management, preferably within the industrial or municipal sectors.
  • Strong ability to manage and grow a distributor network.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and commercial acumen.
  • Ability to travel as required to meet business objectives.
  • Proficient in managing multiple stakeholders and conducting commercial negotiations.
  • Experience in leading regional trade exhibitions and conducting business reviews.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and proficient in reporting and forecasting sales metrics.
