Document Controller - Sizewell C Project
Location: Leiston (3 days on-site) | Remote (2 days from home)
Contract: Long-term contract via Morson Talent

Morson Talent is proud to be supporting the development of one of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects. We are currently recruiting a Document Controller to join the Sizewell C (SZC) project team - a multi-billion-pound nuclear new build programme based in Suffolk.

This is a contract opportunity with long-term potential, offering a hybrid working model with 3 days per week in the Leiston office and 2 days from home.

Role Overview
You will provide Document Control support to the Sizewell C project in compliance with License Condition 6: Documents, Records, Authorities & Certificates. This is a key role within the SZC Documents & Records team, helping to ensure robust documentation management across a highly complex regulatory and stakeholder environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide document management support using the chosen EDRMS and supplementary systems

Ensure compliance with project documentation standards and procedures

Support project teams and supply chain partners with document control guidance and training

Capture, control, store, and distribute project documentation and records

Perform quality assurance checks on project deliverables

Manage workflows and distribution in line with the distribution matrix

Represent the Document Control team in internal and external meetings

Produce reports and contribute to continuous improvement within the team

What We're Looking For

Experience in Document Control, ideally on complex or regulated projects

Comfortable working with Electronic Document and Records Management Systems (EDRMS)

Knowledge of quality assurance processes, record keeping, and distribution matrices

Confident using Microsoft Office Suite

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach

No formal qualifications required, but a good standard of education and professional maturity is expected

Desirable

Prior experience in large-scale infrastructure, construction, or engineering projects

Ability to influence and promote best practice in document management

A proactive and organised mindset with the ability to manage your own workload
