They are now looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our friendly, hardworking team and help keep our plant running safely and efficiently.
The Role
This is a hands-on engineering role based within a busy chemical manufacturing environment. You'll be maintaining, repairing, and improving a range of production equipment and site infrastructure to ensure smooth, safe, and continuous operations.
You'll need to be comfortable getting stuck in, this is not a desk job.
The work can sometimes be dirty, smelly, and challenging, but for the right person, it's highly rewarding, varied, and part of a supportive team that values practical problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on plant equipment, utilities, and facilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
- Support plant shutdowns and major maintenance projects
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with site standards and regulations
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and enhance reliability
About You
- Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is essential
- Experience in a chemical manufacturing plant is highly desirable
- Electrical skills or qualifications would be the gold standard
- Comfortable working in environments that can be physically demanding and not always pleasant-smelling!
- A proactive, safety-conscious approach with great problem-solving skills

- Salary: 40,000 - 50,000 (DOE)
