Account Manager
  • Annual Salary: Up to £36,000 plus bonus

Join our client as an Account Manager to manage and grow their existing customer portfolio through exceptional customer service and strategic relationship building in line with their business strategy.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts with the primary aim of customer retention.
  • Analyse lost business and complaint management data to implement corrective actions.
  • Explore and execute cross-selling opportunities.
  • Develop and review Customer Account Plans to identify future risks and opportunities.
  • Achieve the company’s growth targets for the customer portfolio.
  • Act as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to your customers.
  • Understand and anticipate the needs and future requirements of customers through proactive management.
  • Maintain ownership of the customer service level agreement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Forecast and track customer metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
  • Manage discussions around outstanding debts to reach satisfactory outcomes.
  • Review the commercial viability of accounts and recommend service improvements or additions.
  • Negotiate price increases with customers as advised by the company.
  • Drive improvements by applying commercial thinking to meet existing and emerging customer requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to manage and retain customer accounts.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across departments and sites.
  • Excellent organisational skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Valid driver’s license.
