With a strong heritage and a national reputation for quality products, our Client supplies leading supermarkets across Scotland, including Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Co-op, Spar, Iceland and Bookers.  As they continue their impressive trajectory, they are looking for a passionate and results driven Account Manager to join their team.

The Role
This high-impact sales position is ideal for someone with proven success in the food industry, working directly with retail and hospitality buyers.

Key responsibilities will be to:

  • Drive sales & profitability through strategic planning, securing new business and growing existing accounts.
  • Analyse market trends, identify customer needs, and deliver smart solutions.
  • Lead outreach, networking, and relationship-building with key industry contacts.
  • Manage the full sales process from prospecting to negotiation and onboarding.
  • Work closely with Technical & NPD teams to bring the best of products to the market.
  • Attend industry events, summits, and roadshows to promote the brands and products
  • Forecast weekly, monthly and annual revenue.


The successful Account Manager will have the opportunity to travel as part of their role, and when not doing so will be based at the Falkirk site.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Sales or account management experience within the food industry
  • Proven success working with retail or hospitality buyers
  • Strong negotiation & strategic selling skills
  • A confident communicator who can represent two leading Scottish brands
  • Ability to collaborate across internal teams & report to Head of Commercial
