Intermediate to Senior Electrical Design Engineer
Location: Fareham (with travel to site and design team meetings as required)
Employment: Permanent or Contract | 39 hours per week

I'm working with a modern, forward-thinking firm of M&E Consulting Engineers who specialise in delivering innovative and sustainable building services design solutions across the UK. They combine the personal attention of a smaller practice with the technical expertise and resources of a larger organisation, building lasting relationships and delivering high-quality engineering outcomes.
About the Role
Due to continued growth, they are seeking an Intermediate to Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their established team. You'll play a key role in developing coordinated MEP designs for residential and commercial projects, producing calculations, schematics, schedules, layouts, and specifications to a high standard on fast-paced projects.
What You'll Be Doing
- Low Voltage design using Amtech
- Internal and external lighting design (Dialux or Relux)
- Cable containment design
- Performance design of fire alarm, security, and specialist systems
- Incoming services and infrastructure design
- Working collaboratively with other disciplines to ensure fully coordinated solutions
What They're Looking For
- HNC/HND or degree in Building Services or Electrical Engineering
- Strong technical knowledge and the ability to work independently
- Experience working on residential and commercial projects
