Job Title: Mechanical Technician
Location: Fareham
Fully onsite
PAYE Rate: 17.52/hr rising to 18.05/hr (or 20.07-20.68/hr including holiday pay)
Overtime: 1.5x | Sundays: 2x
Working Hours: 37 hours/week - Monday to Thursday: 7:30am-4:15pm, Friday: 7:30am-11:30am
Eligibility: You must be free to live and work in the UK, able to obtain baseline clearance, and meet ITAR restrictions.

We're seeking 5 Mechanical Technicians to join our aerospace client in Fareham on long-term PAYE contracts until June 2026, with likely extensions.
Key Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Technician, you'll contribute to exciting aerospace projects in a supportive environment by:
Precisely fitting aerospace components using a variety of techniques
Conducting thorough testing to meet strict specifications
Delivering high-quality work efficiently and on budget
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe workspace
Working independently after training while staying flexible and cooperative
What You Need to Succeed
Proven assembly experience
Ability to read and follow detailed engineering drawings
Excellent hand dexterity and attention to detail
Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
Preferred but not essential:
Aerospace assembly experience
Experience in fuel testing
