We’re currently seeking a Cable Assembler to join a busy and supportive team based in Portsmouth. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with an established company on a temporary day-shift contract, with competitive pay and a great working environment.
Role Overview:As a Cable Assembler, you’ll be responsible for assembling electrical cables and wire harnesses following technical drawings and work instructions. Your duties will include:

Cutting, stripping, and preparing wires and cables

Crimping, soldering, and attaching connectors

Assembling wire harnesses and cable looms

Performing basic testing and visual inspections

Reading and interpreting diagrams and assembly instructions

Ability to follow technical instructions and drawings

Previous experience in cable assembly or a similar manufacturing role is preferred

Reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Qualifications are not required - only experience and a good attitude!

Day Shift (Monday to Friday)

£12.50 – £13.50 per hour, depending on experience
