We’re working with a well-established electronics manufacturer in Portsmouth who specialise in high-quality assembly work. They’re offering a day shift role that starts on a temporary and leads to a permanent role from 12 weeks for the right people.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assembling and wiring cables, harnesses, and looms to engineering drawings and specifications

  • Carrying out crimping, soldering, and cable terminations

  • Using hand tools and testing equipment to check quality and accuracy

  • Working to production schedules while maintaining high standards of workmanship

  • Following health, safety, and quality procedures on site

What’s Required:

  • Previous experience in cable assembly, wiring, or similar manufacturing/production environment

  • Ability to read and work from technical drawings or instructions

  • Competence with hand tools such as crimpers, soldering irons, and cutters

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work

  • Reliable, punctual, and a good team player
