New Business Account ManagerLocation: CamberleySalary: £25,000-£28,000 + CommissionHours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm

Company Overview:Our client, a rapidly growing FMCG company within the food sector, is seeking a dynamic and driven New Business Account Manager to join their expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in both acquiring new business and nurturing existing client relationships to drive revenue and market share.

Role Purpose:You will be responsible for sustaining and growing new business opportunities, while also managing and developing current customer accounts. Your work will directly contribute to the achievement of sales targets and overall business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to maximize opportunities and deliver agreed business plans

  • Increase category and wallet share within the current client base

  • Use customer data to grow turnover and meet sales targets

  • Implement promotional campaigns to enhance customer engagement and sales

  • Proactively generate new business through direct prospecting and pipeline management

  • Deliver on individual and team performance indicators, revenue, and profitability targets

  • Plan and manage your geographic area to ensure efficiency and effective customer coverage

  • Monitor and retain existing customers by identifying low or non-trading accounts

  • Conduct telesales campaigns and outreach to potential new customers

  • Schedule regular customer contact to ensure consistent engagement and order capture

  • Drive brand awareness and saturation across your customer base

  • Use CRM tools to maintain visibility and communication with both internal and external stakeholders

Key Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in new business development and account management

  • Experience in FMCG or a food-related company is desirable

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation ability

  • Resilient, self-motivated, and driven to meet and exceed targets

  • Strong analytical and time management skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, competitive environment
