Our client is seeking a highly organised and proactive Sales Support Administrator to join their Regional Team in the Farnborough area. Operating within the electronics industry, this role plays a vital part in ensuring their customers receive outstanding service and efficient support across the sales process.

Sales Support Administrator - About The Role

You will be responsible for processing quotes and orders, handling customer enquiries, and supporting the wider Sales Team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Process customer quote requests and purchase orders in accordance with internal sales procedures.
  • Handle and monitor all orders from universities and those placed via the company website.
  • Request the setup of new customer credit accounts as needed.
  • Manage and process any customer or supplier change orders.
  • Expedite orders with the factory to meet customer delivery requirements.
  • Manage the late order report, address issues, and escalate where necessary to the Sales Manager.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to a high volume of customer emails and calls.
  • Flag relevant customer feedback to the appropriate Account Manager.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Sales Team as directed by the Sales Manager.
  • Ensure a consistently high standard of customer service.

Full training will be provided.

The successful Sales Support Administrator will have:

  • Proven experience in an administrative or sales support role.
  • Experience answering customer and client queries via phone and email.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong telephone manner with a customer-first mindset.
  • Confident using computers and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Flexible and team-oriented approach, willing to assist colleagues when needed.
