Sales Support Administrator - About The Role
You will be responsible for processing quotes and orders, handling customer enquiries, and supporting the wider Sales Team.
Key responsibilities:
- Process customer quote requests and purchase orders in accordance with internal sales procedures.
- Handle and monitor all orders from universities and those placed via the company website.
- Request the setup of new customer credit accounts as needed.
- Manage and process any customer or supplier change orders.
- Expedite orders with the factory to meet customer delivery requirements.
- Manage the late order report, address issues, and escalate where necessary to the Sales Manager.
- Respond promptly and professionally to a high volume of customer emails and calls.
- Flag relevant customer feedback to the appropriate Account Manager.
- Provide general administrative support to the Sales Team as directed by the Sales Manager.
- Ensure a consistently high standard of customer service.
Full training will be provided.
The successful Sales Support Administrator will have:
- Proven experience in an administrative or sales support role.
- Experience answering customer and client queries via phone and email.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong telephone manner with a customer-first mindset.
- Confident using computers and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Flexible and team-oriented approach, willing to assist colleagues when needed.
